Here are the Apples that I have grown in our garden. They seem to be cooking apples but Shirl thinks they may be Cox's. They taste ok though so I don't care what they are.
I started life as a little molecule in my mums womb. I grew and became a child of life. When it was time I got kicked out of that warm place where I got fed all the time and I could sleep all the time if I wanted. It was really bright when I came out into the open and then I saw someone holding me in there hands. Then they looked at me, god! what a sight! I started to scream but they just kept making silly noises at me. Then they washed me and put me in this cage that I couldn't get out of. I get kicked out of some where nice and warm and get put into a bloody cage! There has been more work done since this picture was taken, with bark being place between the rows and canes have also been put up for my runner beans. The area that is covered at the bottom of the photo is now where a fruit cage is being built. I am using an old frame tent as the structure. I have just been to collect 5 old fibreglass garage doors that I will be using to build a shed with. I have also been given a door and two windows from a conservatory. I have now just got to build the frame to connect it all together. I have sown quite a lot of veg in my greenhouse and I am quite impressed with the growth so far. I have four different types of tomato growing, sweetcorn, cabbage and also cauliflower. The one that I am hoping will grow is Rhubarb, I have never grown it before so I just hope it works. More info and pics on the a...
