Cycling

Ok Ok I know I drive a car so all we motorists do is moan about cyclists. Wrong! I moan about everything, it's part of being me. But seriously, cyclists get away with everything. I drive every day to and from work and I go through many little villages and towns. I pass lots of cyclists going to and from work, I am sometimes so scared that I am going to hit one of them its worse than when I was in the army. They come out of everywhere, half the time with no lights on their bikes or with a light that is so small you've hit them before you actually see it. They go through red lights. The wrong way around roundabouts up and down kerbs and don't seem to care whether we are actually on the road and whether or not we have seen them. I think that every cyclists must be made to follow the highway code(oh I forgot, they are supposed to anyway). So why do they never get stopped by the police? Is it because stopping speeding cars makes more money? Or just because the courts will just t

Long time no speak

Well its been a long time since I last posted. Work has changed and the allotment has gone. Life seems to be flying by, I get up and have a cup of tea in the morning. I drive to work, I get a hot chocolate. 10-12 hours later I drive home, I get a bottle of Stella out. I go to bed. Life is so challenging. Family life is great, kids are growing into arrogant young men with attitude. Red hair really does make people fiery. A 15 year old that thinks he is street wise, knows that answer to everything and won't accept that what he says is wrong. A 17 year old that doesn't take orders from anybody. Doesn't want to go to college, doesn't want to detach himself from his xbox 360 or his pc. "Tidy your room" we tell him, "why?" he says.
