Cycling
Ok Ok I know I drive a car so all we motorists do is moan about cyclists.
Wrong!
I moan about everything, it's part of being me.
But seriously, cyclists get away with everything. I drive every day to and from work and I go through many little villages and towns. I pass lots of cyclists going to and from work, I am sometimes so scared that I am going to hit one of them its worse than when I was in the army. They come out of everywhere, half the time with no lights on their bikes or with a light that is so small you've hit them before you actually see it. They go through red lights. The wrong way around roundabouts up and down kerbs and don't seem to care whether we are actually on the road and whether or not we have seen them. I think that every cyclists must be made to follow the highway code(oh I forgot, they are supposed to anyway). So why do they never get stopped by the police? Is it because stopping speeding cars makes more money? Or just because the courts will just throw it out stating that it is trivial to charge a cyclist? WHY?
Parents should be held responsible for their childs bike, they should ensure that their child has the correct knowledge for cycling anywhere. But that won't happen as in most cases its adults that are breaking the rules. Men going to work in the morning and coming home at night with no lights, going through traffic lights when they are on red, cutting out in front of cars at junctions. It's just typical.
We pay a ridiculous mount of money to keep our cars on the road and yet cyclists don't pay a penny. WHY NOT?
Your answers on a postcard please.
