Olympic Qtr final. Team GB v South Korea
What a night. The amount of people pouring out of cars, buses, trains and walking was unbelievable. All heading for the same place, The Millenium Stadium, to see whether Team GB could do better than England. Inside the stadium the roof was closed due to the poor weather outside and the sounds and sights were absolutely overwhelming. It was so loud, it was like being next to speakers at a rock concert. The stage was set now it was up to 11 players from Great Britain to show us how they play football to win! No one should ever underestimate South Korea, a team that had played well in the last 5 years. A team that wanted to win, would they have more to give than Team GB? The game started well, with some great teamwork, but never really threatening from Team GB. South Korea got the opener with a great shot from outside of the area. This just showed how open the Team GB defence was. More toing and throwing and then Team GB got themselves a penalty. Up steps Ramsey and in goes the goa
